Appalachian Trail - Ten Mile Hill, Housatonic River and Bulls Bridge**As of 10/5/20, this section of the AT, including the Ten Mile shelter and campsite, is currently closed from Rt. 55 to Bulls Bridge. The trail is open North and South of the closure.**
Duration: 5 Hours Difficulty: Easy - Moderate Distance: Up to 9 Miles Elevation: 1,500ft. Easy to moderate hiking depending on route selection on the iconic A.T. along the Housatonic River. Features a nice lookout, covered bridge and backcountry lean-to shelter. |
Mount Beacon - Fire Tower

Difficulty: Hard Reservoir Route: 5.2 Miles Scofield Ridge: 6.7 Miles Ridge & Reservoir: 7.6 Miles Elevation: Up to 2,000 Feet This challenging hike, located in the Northern section of the East Hudson Highlands, features a waterfall, mountain top views and a fire tower. The terrain is steep, rocky, and sure to provide a good workout. |

Breakneck Ridge - Hudson HighlandsDuration: 3-4 Hours
Difficulty: Hard Distance: 3.6 miles Elevation: 1,230 feet This challenging hike is very popular and known for its rock scrambling, amazing views of the Hudson River, and adrenalin pumping ledges. The trail is very steep and not recommended when wet, icy, or snow covered. |
